Although still in the process of being released, eBay has introduced a new feature called “One Time Password”. This new feature texts you a code that you can use to sign in, and after using that code you stay logged in. The purpose of this new feature is to take away the need to remember your eBay password. “One Time Password”, is available both for PCs and mobile devices, while the IOS version of the app now supports Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
