“Hackers sweet-talked their way into the CIA director’s email account”

CIA Director John Brennan’s personal email account was hacked. According to WIRED, a news magazine, the hackers didn’t use sophisticated skills but instead “duped customer service agents at Verizon AOL,” to obtain Brennan’s cell phone number, email address, and other personal information, including the last four digits of his bank card.

This should remind us all that even the high-ranking members of the US government’s intelligence community are only as secure as their weakest safeguards and that anyone is vulnerable to attacks. For the full article, click here
