“Microsoft on the Issues- Additional steps to help keep your personal information secure”
In an blog post the tech giant Microsoft announced that it will change its policy and implement additional steps to “help keep your personal information secure” as the post is titled. Microsoft has already been notifying customers of potential breaches or attempts of unauthorized access to users accounts however they are now taking it a step further by notifying the users if they suspect the compromise to its users privacy is sponsored by “an individual or group working on behalf of a nation state”.
We recommend users take precautions to protect their accounts by regularly changing their passwords (security best practices require users to change passwords every 3 weeks) and make their passwords difficult to guess. For the complete article, click here
